Firedrill! actually are aliens. They revealed the secret at their release/departure concert. Nate and Wrobz even let out their antennae. They're actually an intergalactic supergroup here to preach the values of groove, joy, and the power of coming together in harmony. Unfortunately, some of the group have been recalled to their home planet to give detailed reports and that's the real reason the group is going on hiatus/exiting the scene. Maybe not. But if you think the album made you cry... the night of the concert Vic proposed to his then-girlfriend, and the joy, elation, and deep, deep emotion (she said yes) when he sang the solo on If I Ain't Got You left quite a few people reaching for their bar napkins to dry their eyes.
