Music from the Future Dave looks into his crystal ball and predicts that OSU Outspoken’s next album Do Not Disturb will be freaking stunning.
Better than the Original In the ongoing debate of “Gravity” vs. “Gravity” (vs. “Gravity”), Christopher declares that the version originally recorded by Sara Bareilles is better than the later version recorded by… Sara Bareilles. And get this: the original is the a cappella one. Just listen to the segment and we’ll explain.
Album Review Dave & Christopher offer some constructive criticism on Stratosphere, the debut album from go-getter group University of Wisconsin-Madison Fundamentally Sound. It’s a solid first draft, but D&C predict better days ahead.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the feedback on “Stratosphere.” I’m not going to pretend that I’m thrilled about how critical the review is, but I appreciate your guys’ honesty and we’re all really excited to hit the studio again to record our sophomore album! Seriously, you guys gave us a ton of stuff to work on; some was stuff that we knew we needed to improve on already and some was news to us, which is great. Hopefully, the experience that we got recording “Stratosphere” combined with our own self-analysis and feedback from folks will make our next album strong.
Btw, I’m with Christopher about “Gravity.” Nothing will ever top the original a cappella version for me.
Keep up the good work,
Cameron

I appreciate the really professional attitude you and your crew have taken with this. At the end of the day, our opinions are just that–opinions. To the extent they encourage and educate, then take heed. If you feel discouraged, then toss this aside. We’re here to help you (while informing a couple thousand people about what’s on the album). I’ll say again: for a debut album, it’s an energetic and ambitious start, so you should be proud of that.
Do keep us in the loop. We’re excited for your next steps.
All the best.
I have to second what Cameron has said. While you gave us a lot of criticism, it is completely welcome. We are always trying to push ourselves toward excellence and your review focuses our efforts even more.
So on behalf of Fundamentally Sound, thank you,

Excellent as always gents. I adore listening to you two…… wish I could just get it on the radio in the car.
hey i just wanted to say thanks for the publicity for our (Outspoken’s) new album. we’re all very excited about it. it was awesome hearing us on a podcast we all love tuning into.
Dave is not a liar. OS’s new album is going to be epic. Pete doesn’t shut up about things on purpose. A new adjective will be used to describe it- “PONETASTIC”
I may or may not be on this album.
“ayples and banaynays” destroyed me.
